Please join your fellow hikers as we cruise to Alaska from Seattle on the Celebrity Infinity. Ports of call include Ketchikan, Juneau and Skagway, all of which have several hiking options to suit your needs.

While we won’t officially organize or lead any hikes, we will provide suggestions, maps and meet regularly to discuss our plans and form groups with fellow hikers. We personally recall a hike around a lake in Greenland where several couples and solos hiked out individually and as we met them along the path, we all commented that we wished we had known that there were other people that we could have joined forces with and shared the experience with. We continue to hike ourselves when we are in port and have hiked in the ports in Alaska where the Celebrity Infinity will be calling. There are several options in each of the ports, although time will be a limiting factor. This particular itinerary allows ample time in most of the ports to complete a hike of several hours. In addition, there are hikes that range from easy or short to longer or more challenging.

After the hikes, we can all join and commiserate about the day and plan for more hiking in the next port. There are no rigid schedules and nobody is forced to participate. It’s all about having a good time in the outdoors whether your goal is to reach the peak of a mountain or take an urban stroll.

In addition, we may also arrive a day early to do some hiking in the Seattle area.
